- Our role. Apostille Services Limited is an independent agency that arranges notarisation, apostille and legalisation on your behalf. We are not a law firm, and we are not part of the Hong Kong Judiciary, the HKSAR Government or any consulate. Notarial acts are performed by independent practising Notaries Public.
- Your documents. You confirm the documents are genuine and that you are entitled to have them processed. We do not check the accuracy of their content.
- Acceptance abroad. The receiving authority decides whether to accept a document. Please confirm their requirements before ordering. We will advise on the usual route but cannot guarantee acceptance.
- Fees. Quotes are fixed for the documents and route described. Government and consular fees are set by those bodies; if they change before we lodge your document, we will tell you before proceeding.
- Timings. Timings are estimates. We are not responsible for delays caused by the High Court, consulates, couriers, public holidays or incomplete documents.
- Refunds. If we have not started work, we refund in full. Once a document has been lodged with a notary, the High Court or a consulate, fees already paid to them are non-refundable.
- Liability. Our liability is limited to the service fee paid for the affected document, except where the law does not allow this limit.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR.
